Goals of this Article

► To understand the difference between Broadcast Transfer campaigns and the other voice campaigns types.
► To create and upload the group of contacts to be used for this campaign
► To set up what time of day the recording is to be sent and which Caller ID to show
► To create your first Broadcast Transfer campaign
► How to check the reporting after the important date is done and contact is completed.

So where do you usually use broadcast transfer campaigns?

Put simply, the Broadcast transfer campaign is sending out a pre-recorded message and given them an option to just press a number to be connected to the Caller ID you registered.

You can start by sending out an ad about your current discounts/promotions and ask them to press a number to be connected to you. If they are busy they can just hang up and continue on with their day but if they are interested, they will be connected to you when they press the number. Imagine the power that gives you, you will just be speaking with people that already shown interest in what you had to say in your Broadcast. Now you can focus your sales pitch to a manageable number of people that already shown interest. How cool is that?

So what do you need to create a Broadcast transfer campaign?

► You need a recording that says your agenda and has a message, in the end, to press a number to be connected to you.
► You would need a group contacts to be used for this campaign
► You also need to consider how you would send out the calls. If we are talking thousands of contacts here. I would suggest using throttle campaign here and control the number of calls going out per hour. You don't want hundreds of people calling you back at the same time right?

You might say, "But you still have not shown us how to set up one!" Yeah, yeah I am just creating some screenshots here so I can show it to you. So here it is..

From your Dashboard, go to Voice Campaigns and then click on Add Campaign.

C. If you have a file (MP3 or WAV Format) to be used as a voice recording, this is where you go to upload them.
D. This is where you record your voice using the Chrome Browser. ( You need a microphone on your computer for this one.)
