The broadcast survey is pre-recorded voice being played to anyone who would answer the call.

Recipients will be prompted to key in a response by hitting the corresponding number on their phone keypad. For example, you can create a recording with this script, "Are you be attending the Generic Event on Saturday? Press 1 for Yes, Press 2 for No, Press 3 for Maybe."

Sending out a Broadcast survey in this instance will give you a good idea of how many people plan on attending your event - the response rate is a lot quicker than sending out R.S.V.P. invitations in the mail and oh, it can be the voice of the speaker in the event.

You can also set the survey to transfer the call to your caller ID when they Press a keypad option.

A. Here you will choose the recording for your poll survey, it can include the introductions, question and then asking them to press the keypad for the choices.
B. If your only have one recording that has all those 3, just choose yes on the radio button and all you need to configure are the keypad choices.
D. If your questions is on a separate recording, just choose the recording from here.
C. If you have multiple keypad options, you can click the green + button and you can create up to 10 keypad choices.
D. If you want to include transfer options on your polling survey, you can enable the special features here. You can select the keypad they need to press to be connected to the caller ID of your choice.
E. This is where you select the number is the dial pad they need to press to be transferred to the caller ID of your choosing.
F. If you have a separate recording for the transfer message, enable it here.
G. This is where you select the recording to use during transfer. (If enabled)
H. You can create recordings via uploading an MP3 or WAV file, record via the browser or set the TryCall system to call you so you can record via your phone.
I. If you want to add more keypad selections for the transfer, you can click the red + icon here.

You are only charged for the calls that are answered. The survey is worth 2 credit per 30 sec of the entire survey.

Upon completion, you are able to log in to your TryCall account and check the results of your recent Broadcast Survey then a detailed report will be generated that will allow you to see how many people answered the survey along with all of their individual answers.

You can use this for product/service satisfaction surveys and quick R.S.V.P. invitations via phone, which you can send a follow-up SMS campaign with a hyperlink for the calendar invite or a survey form. The possibilities are endless!
