How to Create SMS Campaign

Navigate your way to the add SMS campaign like in the picture below

You will be presented with this Campaign Info Screen like in the image below. Now let me break down each section for you.

A ► This is where you Campaign name which will act as a label that will help you in managing the campaigns that you have.
B ► This is the SMS character counter. As you enter your message in the message box below this will count the number of character you currently have. 134 character is worth 1 credit when sending out.
C ► This is the number of SMS that will be sent out. 1 SMS = 134 characters.
D ► This is where you type your message.
E ► This is where you can create template of messages for future campaign use
F ► This is a pop that will let you know what kind of tags you can include in your message like #firstname#. It will pull information out from your contacts details so that the message is more personalised.
G ► This is where you can turn on the DNC link where your contact will be provided with a link together with your message so they can opt out from the contact list.
H ► This is where you click to go to the next step Phone List/Contacts.

Settings

This is the part where you configure the schedule when the messages will be sent out.

A ► This is the start immediately settings which as the name implies it will be sent out as soon as the campaign is created.
B ► This is the Schedule later which is what you see on the image above.
C ► This is the part where you configure the time zone
D ► This is where you configure the start Date and Time for the campaign
E ► This is the advance scheduling section allowing you to split the number of SMS over several days.
F ► You can change the number of SMS sent per day here
G ► You can select the days of the week where you want the messages to be sent and it will be evenly distributed throughout the week.
H ► The is the button to go back to the previous step.
I ► This is the button to go to the next screen which is the confirmation screen to review the settings and create the campaign if all the settings is correct.
