In case the Flash SMS isn't supported by an operator or mobile phone, the message is still sent as a standard SMS.
Flash SMS are shown immediately on the receivers phone and do not disappear until the receiver has confirmed the message. This feature is perfect for messages that really have to be read by the receiver.
Flash SMS are not automatically saved in the phones memory. This is useful when sending information that should not be saved, like login credentials.
Limitations of using Flash SMS:
However, in case of multiple flash messages being sent, it's important to keep in mind that your users will only be able to see the last message they receive.
Also, the sender of the Flash SMS is not shown to the receiver so it is important to be clear in the content of the text message.
