In past few years, Branded SMS has a remarkable increasing involvement in marketing practice, it has been used with other traditional media, such as Email, Voicemail or other phone campaigns, to strengthen the efficiency of the campaign.
It was claimed that SMS itself enables to enlarge the campaign’s reach and effectiveness because of the ability of interactive to create a viral effect. When receivers receive a message, they then forward to further other people in their contact list. Those messages delivered by familiar senders were seen in more trustworthy eyes than those sent from advertisers directly. Plus, SMS itself allows the sender and receiver to interact immediately so that mobile advertising will yield a direct and rapid response from the consumers. Moreover, mobile phones are ubiquity and convenience because they are very personal and always kept within 1 meter of the user’s body during the day time. Therefore, SMS advertising allows the marketer to reach consumers virtually at any time and anywhere via their mobile devices. It helps marketer become closer to the consumer as the mobile phone is communication which is a part of consumer’s daily lives. So, information sent to mobile devices also tends to capture premium attention from receivers because the information is read completely and immediately after receipt. SMS is also a low-cost medium compared to other types of direct marketing (e.g. telephone marketing, email marketing, direct mail).
SMS can capture tens of thousands consumer with a low budget compared to other media of communication. There is a variety of way which SMS has been used as a medium. Because SMS provide a diversity of response capabilities such as message-based responses, call based response, and mobile web landing page response. SMS will be sent with the hyperlink allowing phone users to click to make a call (or click) to buy, to download, to reply in an email, to open a form to fill up or to watch a video in Youtube.
Let me show you how you can use the new Branded SMS feature.
HOW TO REGISTER YOUR BRANDED ID
You can click on the Register your number, click on Add your Branded Name and submit the Branded ID you want to register.
NOTE: You can use a maximum of 11 Characters for your Brand Name.
Branded ID verification approval will follow the terms of use of Trycall. As a condition of your use of the Trycall Service, you agree and warrant to Trycall that you will not use the Trycall Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by the User Agreement. Approval turn around time should be just a few minutes but for anything urgent, call or chat with our support team.
HOW TO CREATE BRANDED SMS CAMPAIGN.
You can click on the Branded SMS campaign directly from the dashboard or use the left icon, Text Campaign, add campaign and then select Branded in the Campaign type dropdown options.
Click on Branded SMS Campaign to get started with the campaign creation.
NOTE: Your recipient cannot reply to this SMS so it would be best to include your contact details if you want them to call you back. (Emoji not supported)
Under the Caller Name, you should be able to see all the verified Branded ID for your account, select the Brand you would like to use and proceed with the campaign creation.
Then you can schedule and send your campaign the same way you schedule any Trycall campaigns.
NOTE: People cannot reply to your Branded SMS since it sends with your Brand Name instead of a phone number. You can add your best contact number in your message.
